Alpha garments feature patented VizLite DT which offers 3 levels of visibility:

1. Daytime: Bright colored fluorescent fabric increases daytime visibility.

2. Nighttime: Silver reflective tape reflects light, such as car headlights.

3. Complete darkness: If a worker/pedestrian is standing on the road and an approaching car does NOT have their headlights on, both the bright fabric and the silver tape are invisible. With a typical safety vest, the wearer is at risk of being struck because he is invisible. The VizLite DT vest has patented tape that glows in the dark, like a glow stick, even when no light is present. There are no lightbulbs, so no batteries are needed! This patented technology exceeds ANSI standards for visibility and durability, and provides greater visibility than typical safety vests.
