CALIFORNIA PROP 65 WARNING
This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm.
Galeton is reviewing California Prop 65 product notification requirements as to the applicability to our products. Given the regulatory requirements, and the "safe harbor" levels of the chemicals listed in the statute, the evaluation of the applicability to our products is ongoing. Under the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act of 1986 (Prop 65), manufacturers are required to provide reasonable notice to consumers if their products contain a chemical listed by the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA).
Galeton has begun labeling these products in accordance with the current Prop 65 requirements. Galeton will label certain rainwear, protective clothing, footwear, safety glasses, work gloves, and other products with the requisite warning when they are shipped to an address in the State of California, or to a reseller of these products regardless of the state in which the reseller is located.
