VitaFlex™ Soft Stretch Painter's Hood #11196

Cotton spray socks can leak. The VitaFlex Hood doesn't! This revolutionary soft, stretch head cover gives you comfortable protection from paint, spray foam, dust, soot and liquid splashes. The stretchy polypropylene fibers are water repellent and provide triple-layer protection. Breathing through the material is very easy because there is virtually no resistance to air flow. Can be used covering the mouth and/or nose to help filter out dust, or easily pulls down below the chin. It also reduces sun overexposure and wind chill for people who work outdoors.

The hood is not for replacing a mask if required by OSHA. Not FDA or NIOSH rated. (For NIOSH rated masks go to Galeton's Respirators product category) Not for blocking toxic or bio-hazard gases, fumes, or vapors. Not for blocking pressurized liquid and particles. Not to be used near flames or in an environment above 200°F.
