The lightweight, compact design of the 9 ft. Miller Scorpion™ Personal Fall Limiter provides workers an affordable alternative to shock-absorbing lanyards. Compared to shock-absorbing lanyards, the Scorpion web retractable requires less fall clearance, offers greater mobility and prevents tripping hazards. Conveniently attaches directly to the harness D-ring for use as a personal fall limiter, or use as a traditional retractable lifeline. Features a quick-activating, high-strength stainless steel braking system that arrests free falls within inches. Visual load indicator let you know when the unit must be removed from service. No annual factory recertification required. Max working load 310 lbs. Max arresting force 900 lbf. Unit weight only 2.9 lbs! Meets all applicable OSHA, ANSI and CSA Standards.
